💌 September News from Cards for Care Edmonton

Updated: Sep 12

Welcome back to the Cards for Care Edmonton blog! We’re so grateful to have you here.

Together, we share a single mission: to bring comfort and joy to patients, seniors, and healthcare workers through the simple yet powerful act of a handwritten card.

A Summer of Gratitude

This summer has been a season of growth, connection, and gratitude. With every volunteer who joined, every handmade card that was crafted, and every donation of supplies, our community reminded us of the power of small acts of kindness. Each contribution is a ripple of kindness — and together, those ripples are creating waves.

One of our biggest highlights came in August, when Cards for Care was featured on Global News.

Our founder, Brendan, spoke with Quinn Ohler about how a simple card can brighten even the hardest of days.

We are also so proud of Carmen Baird from Pat’s Cardmaking Group at the Edmonton Reuse Centre, who shared her passion and represented our volunteers beautifully.
