About the Partnership
Sorrentino’s Compassion House is a home away from home for women who must travel to Edmonton for cancer treatment. Cards for Care Alberta partners with Compassion House to provide handwritten cards for welcome kits, guest rooms, and shared spaces.
Each card offers a small moment of encouragement in the middle of a difficult season, reminding women that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by community.
Spreading Hope
Handmade Cards for All
Volunteers from across Alberta craft heartfelt cards with messages of hope and inclusivity. Our dedicated team carefully organizes and prepares these cards for distribution in welcome kits and public spaces. The cards find their way to Sorrentino’s Compassion House, where they bring comfort and support to guests and their families.
