Cards of Comfort in Every Kit

We’re proud to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities in Edmonton. Handmade cards now go out in welcome kits to families—up to three times a day.

What’s in the Welcome Kits?

Each welcome package includes toiletries, a toy, some snacks, and now—a handmade card from a Cards for Care volunteer. These cards are designed to offer comfort to anyone staying at the house—whether that’s a child receiving treatment, a parent navigating long days at the hospital, or a family member holding everything together.

Card Guidelines

  • Keep messages short, kind, and inclusive.

  • Avoid religious content or specific medical terms.

  • No glitter, sequins, or loose decorations.

  • Sign your first name and city on the back
